Hailing from Albuquerque, New Mexico comes Luperci, the main project of Joseph Angelo. Luperci has been very active over the last few years releasing a hand full of private releases via CDr, cassette and a vinyl. "Jahator" is the newest offering from Joseph, which explores deeply into heavy sitar compositions. To say this release is epic would just scratch the surface, the spectrum Luperci explores through the chosen instrumentation is very vast, taking the sitar and forging between light eastern-influenced ambiance to blown out noise and back, easing the listener's mood by shifting textures with melodic, yet doomed-out compositions. A brooding journey sure to lift you into another world free of society, creating a full body experience through vibrational sound.
